Using the Dialer to Send a Text to a Lead
Overview
Once the dialer and texting features are enabled, you can send SMS messages to leads from the CRM. Navigate to the Leads page and click on the lead’s phone number to open the text history.
Sending a text
Click the Send Text button to open a compose window. You can also send a text from the lead’s detail page via the Text Msg button or use the plus icon next to the lead in the lead list. Messages are sent from your Sierra Dialer number and replies are captured in the CRM.
Message history
The text thread records all outgoing and incoming messages. Replies appear both in the lead’s history and in your dialer text inbox, ensuring agents see conversations across devices.
