Using the Dialer to Place a Call to a Lead

Overview #

The Sierra Dialer lets agents place phone calls directly from the CRM. Once the dialer is enabled, open the Leads page and click a lead’s phone number.

Call options #

Select whether to call via browser, call via your connected phone number, add the lead to a call list or send a text message. Choosing Call via Browser opens a soft phone so you can speak through your computer.

Log the call #

After the conversation ends, a call log overlay appears where you select the call outcome, add notes and decide whether to save the call recording. Once saved, the call is stored in the lead’s history.
