Why use contact templates? #
Contact templates let you save frequently used emails or text messages for quick reuse. Only managers can manage templates; agent-level users can apply them when sending messages.
Create a template #
Managers open the gear menu and select Contact Templates. Click Create New Template and choose whether it’s global (team‑wide) or personal. Select the template type (Email, Message Overlay or Text Message), set usage (buyer’s agent, listing agent or lender) and specify where it will be available (manual emails, drip campaigns or action plans). Provide an internal name, subject and message body. Use merge fields such as lead first name, agent name or time of day to personalise each message.
Using templates #
When composing an email or text from a lead’s dashboard, choose a template from the Templates drop‑down to auto‑populate the message. You can edit the content before sending, ensuring consistent messaging while saving time.
